Activities for Seniors in Westmont
Westmont Park District Senior Center
Adults over the age of 55 are invited to become a part of the senior community at the Westmont Park District. Located at 55 East Richmond St., the Senior Center is open from 8:30
The lower level contains a lounge and large television, a blood pressure machine and tables for cards and games. Upstairs, guests enjoy scheduled classes and activities, as well as meeting space.
Subscribe to the “Young At Heart News” newsletter to keep informed of all that is going on, including trips and special events. To cover mailing costs, residents are charged $6 per year and non-residents pay $9 per year. Newsletters can be picked up free of charge at the community center or senior center or they can be viewed online.

Westmont Rotary Club
This service group of area men and women meets on Tuesdays at noon at Papa Passero’s, 6326 Cass Ave. Meetings on the last Tuesday of each month take place at 5:30 p.m. and the location may change.

The Community House
Whether you enjoy theatre, music or simply getting together with friends, the Active Adults program at The Community House has something for everyone. They have a variety of card groups, exercise classes and computer classes, in addition to day trips and special in-house events. Come by yourself or bring along a friend and join in one of the many offerings for active adults in the community. There are many opportunities for you to stay active and involved.
