Darien Park District
The Darien Park District has a variety of programs, classes and special events planned throughout the year for senior adults.
The Darien Park District Fitness Club is a 3,900-square-foot fitness center at 7301 Fairview Avenue. For more information on the fitness center and its many classes and programs, call (630) 986-6400.

Darien Woman’s Club
The Darien Woman’s Club is a diverse group of women interested in connecting with the community and each other through service, friendship, social activities, and educational endeavors.
This group meets the first Wednesday of each month, September through April, at the Darien Park District, 7301 Fairview Ave.
Darien Historical Society
The mission of the Darien Historical Society is to collect and preserve archives and artifacts relating to the history of Darien and to serve as a resource for students, educators, historians, genealogists, and other interested persons. Learn more at darienilhistory.org.
Darien Lions Club
The Lions Club is an active group responsible for many local events, including the annual Fourth of July parade, Halloween Party and Pancake Breakfast. Men and women are welcome.
Members meet twice month from September through June.

Darien Rotary Club
The Darien Rotary Club is a service organization meeting needs both locally and globally. Members meet for lunch every Tuesday at 12:15 p.m., at the Guest House at Argonne National Laboratory in Darien.

Darien Garden Club
The Darien Garden Club is a friendly organization filled with fun people who enjoy gardening and want to learn more about their hobby. Meetings are held the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m., at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 7214 S. Cass Ave.
Guests may attend two meetings prior to becoming a member. Membership is $30 annually.
The Community House
Whether you enjoy theatre, music or simply getting together with friends, the Active Adults program at The Community House has something for everyone. They have a variety of card groups, exercise classes and computer classes, in addition to day trips and special in-house events. Come by yourself or bring along a friend and join in one of the many offerings for active adults in the community. There are many opportunities for you to stay active and involved. The Hinsdale Encore Chorale offers adults 55 and older than opportunity to enjoy the many benefits of choral singing.
Rehearsals are held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. every Thursday morning at The Community House in Hinsdale, with two free concerts held each year.
Cost for each 15-week program is $175, which includes music and a rehearsal CD.
