named 2009 Franchisee of the Year
CINCINNATI – Michael and Mary Doepke, owners of the Home Helpers and Direct Link franchise servicing Western Cook & Eastern DuPage counties in Illinois, were recently honored as the 2009 “Franchisee of the Year” for Home Helpers, the nation’s leading senior care franchise specializing in non-medical and personal care and companionship for seniors. The award was presented at the International Franchise Association’s Public Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C., on September 14, 2009.

Home Helpers and Direct Link’s “Franchisee of the Year” award was established to honor the franchisee(s) who demonstrates leadership and excellence in a variety of areas. The Doepkes were nominated and chosen to receive this award out of the nearly 500 franchise owners based on their numerous contributions to the franchise organization, including mentoring other franchise owners and helping to develop the new franchisee training program. Their franchise is also seeing a significant increase in sales and their outstanding customer service and overall dedication also played a major role in the decision to award them this prestigious honor.
